GUWAHATI: An accident was reported from the Khanapara area of Guwahati on Monday during the morning hours.
As informed by the Dispur Traffic-in-Charge to G Plus, the accident occurred after two four-wheelers collided with each other at 5:15 AM in the Khanapara Road area.
The vehicles were carrying five individuals in total and all of them have sustained serious injuries as a result of the collision.
The Dispur Traffic-in-Charge, while speaking to G Plus stated that the injured have been sent to the GNRC Hospital in Six Mile and are currently undergoing treatment.
The police officials are investigating the exact cause of the accident and as of now, suspicions of intoxication have arisen. However, nothing has been ascertained as of yet.
