GUWAHATI: The Assam police in association with the local community apprehended three persons before they could flee after snatching a mobile phone in the Ulubari area on Sunday, September 22.

The police apprehended Samidul Islam, a 20-year-old from Bilasipara, Dhubri, along with two accomplices from Silpukhuri and Birubari.
The police recovered the stolen mobile phone and the scooty used in the crime, both of which have been taken into custody.
Legal action has been initiated against the suspects.
