GUWAHATI: A team from the Crime Branch apprehended five veteran vehicle lifters on Tuesday, December 17, during a crackdown across various parts of Assam.

The suspects, known for their involvement in vehicle theft, were arrested following an extensive investigation into a series of thefts across the region.
The gang is linked to numerous incidents of vehicle theft, including both two-wheelers and four-wheelers, primarily in Guwahati city.
Legal action has been initiated against the suspects. Further investigation is ongoing.
