GUWAHATI: A Special Operations Group (SOG) from Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) and a team from Paltan Bazaar Police Station seized heroin and also apprehended the person involved on June 9.

The person identified as Ajibar Rahman, 31, of Chaygaon, was apprehended at Gandhi Mandap Tiniali red-handed with 21.50 gram of suspected heroin.
During the arrest, authorities also seized a two-wheeler allegedly used by the accused. Legal action has been initiated against Rahman.
