GUWAHATI: The police apprehended an alleged thief in Kamarpatty and also recovered his loot on Wednesday, June 19.

A team from the Paltan Bazar Police Station under the Central Guwahati Police District (CGPD) solved a theft case at a shop in Kamarpatty, arresting Krishna Das yesterday.
During the arrest, the police also recovered ₹5,17,030 in cash, a blue helmet used during the break-in, and a mobile phone from Das’s possession.
Necessary legal action has been initiated against the suspect. Further details are awaited.
