The countdown has begun for the grandest celebration of Guwahati’s culinary scene—the Guwahati Food Awards 2024. This year, the event promises to be even more special with celebrated with the OG food and travel influencer Rocky Singh gracing the evening as the Chief Guest, and renowned actor Neil Bhoopalam taking the stage as the Celebrity Host.
Scheduled to be held on December 22, 2024, at Vivanta, Guwahati, this much-anticipated event is set to honour the finest establishments and individuals shaping the food and beverage industry in the region.
Rocky Singh, widely known for his unmatched knowledge of Indian cuisine and his role in popular food travel show “Highway On My Plate”, will bring his signature charm and deep culinary insights to the awards.
Meanwhile, Neil Bhoopalam, known for his captivating performances in Bollywood and web series including No One Killed Jessica, Shaitan, NH10, Lust Stories and the Indian TV series 24, is all set to add glamour and charisma to the evening as he hosts the event.
With 35 diverse categories such as Best Bakery, Best Café, Best Pub/Bar, Biryani Brand of the Year, and Best Value for Money Restaurant, the awards will spotlight Guwahati’s culinary trailblazers. Exciting new categories like Unique Food Service Concept/Format and Best Brand of the Decade ensure that the 2024 edition stands out as a landmark event.
Adding to the excitement, the evening will also reveal the winners of competitions - The Great Guwahati Bake Off and Home Chef of the Year which was held on November 14 and December 10 respectively, bringing recognition to emerging talent and culinary creativity.
