GUWAHATI: Rishith Bharadwaj has recently won four gold medals in several Taekwondo championships in the 57 kg weight category.
These championships include the 4th Kamrup (Metro) district Taekwondo Championship in under 57 kg weight category cadet boys (KYORUGI) held in Guwahati on July 7 and 8, the 3rd Kamrup (Rural) district Taekwondo Championship in under 57 kg weight category cadet boys (KYORUGI and POOMSAE Group) held in Amingaon on July 13 and 14 and the 36th State Taekwondo Championship in under 57 kg weight category cadet boys (KYORUGI) held in Tezpur from July 25 to July 28.
Bharadwaj is a class 9 student from Sanskriti the Gurukul School in the city.
