GUWAHATI: Congress MP Gaurav Gogoi on Thursday, June 28, filed an adjournment motion notice in Lok Sabha demanding a discussion on the alleged irregularities in the NEET-UG 2024 examination.

Gogoi stated in his letter to the Secretary-General of Lok Sabha that there is a need to discuss this matter as “there are widespread concerns and allegations of irregularities in the conduct of the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test (NEET-UG) 2024, by the National Testing Agency (NTA).”
“Therefore, I urge the house to take up this issue for a discussion on priority so we can ensure that the concerns of the students and their families are heard and addressed effectively,” said Gogoi.
In an INDIA Bloc meeting held on June 27, several prominent opposition leaders spoke about the necessity to hold a discussion on the recent NEET-UG controversy.
