GUWAHATI: Taking a potshot on Congress, Assam Health Minister, Himanta Biswa Sarma, said that from Kashmir to Assam, the Congress Party is indulging in a dangerous game of siding with the separatist elements.

“In Kashmir, Congress is allying with the Gupkar gang. In Assam, the Congress is supporting the communal agenda of Badruddin Ajmal. They are supporting every action of AIUDF,” Sarma said at a press conference at Radisson Blu Hotel in Guwahati on November 19.
Sarma alleged that the Congress is trying to disturb the peace in Assam and Jammu & Kashmir by siding with separatist elements.
“At Silchar airport, pro-Pakistan slogan was raised and FIR was filed against me instead of Ajmal who led that rally,” Sarma said.
He said that Congress has deviated from the ideals of the freedom fighters.
