GUWAHATI: Assam's education sector is poised for transformation as Cabinet Minister Atul Bora laid the foundation stones for new school buildings in Guwahati.

During the ceremony, Minister Atul Bora initiated the construction of new school buildings for Ganesh Mandir HS School, Gopal Boro HS School, and Arya Vidyapeeth HS School. These construction projects, allocated funds totalling ₹6.05 crore, ₹9.77 crore and ₹8.87 crore respectively under the PM-devINE scheme, aim to enhance educational infrastructure and create conducive learning environments for students.
Additionally, foundation stones for several other school buildings were ceremonially laid, signifying an effort to bolster the educational landscape in the region. Minister Bora expressed confidence that these new facilities will uplift teachers and students alike, fostering an environment conducive to the development of quality human resources.
