GUWAHATI: Union Minister Amit Shah laid the foundation stone for the Shrimad Rajchandra Ahimsa Centre, a transformative facility aimed at fostering empathy and compassion for all living beings. The Centre will feature innovative attractions such as a Multi-Sensory Walkthrough, a 4-D Digital Experience, and educational facilities to connect people with nature and animals.
Speaking at the event, Amit Shah said, “Performing the Mahamastakabhishek of Shrimad Rajchandraji’s idol brought immense peace and joy. Shrimadji’s profound contributions to society serve as a guiding light for humanity. Under Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji’s leadership, the Mission is making remarkable strides in embodying Shrimadji’s teachings and serving society.”
Minister Shah, also paid a visit to the Shrimad Rajchandra Ashram in Dharampur, Gujarat, to honour the spiritual legacy of Shrimad Rajchandraji, a luminary of the late 19th century whose philosophy continues to inspire generations.
During the visit, Shah joined Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji in the sacred Mahamastakabhishek ceremony of the tallest statue of Yugpurush Shrimad Rajchandraji, symbolizing deep respect for the saint and poet-philosopher who charted a profound path to liberation through his writings.
Pujya Gurudevshri Rakeshji expressed his appreciation for Shah’s efforts to preserve Indian culture and values. “The Shrimad Rajchandra Mission Dharampur is committed to aligning its efforts with the Government’s vision of a developed India by 2047. May the nation prosper through your tireless efforts,” he said.
