GUWAHATI: A 45-year-old former journalist was found dead at his residence under mysterious circumstances in Hengrabari around 3:00 AM on Monday, January 6.

The deceased has been identified as Raj Moon Saikia.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Dispur Police station said, "Locals alleged that he was murdered, but as per preliminary investigation, it appears to be a natural death. He had been undergoing treatment at a rehabilitation centre for the past two years.”
Further investigation is underway.
