GUWAHATI: Former Tezpur Lok Sabha MP Ram Prasad Sarma is all set to join the Nitish Kumar led Janata Dal (United) in New Delhi on August 17.
According to reports, Sharma will join the party in the presence of general secretary KC Tyagi. The joining-in ceremony is likely to place around 1 PM.

It should be mentioned that earlier this year, Sarmah who had resigned from the primary membership of the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) in March 2019 over denial of ticket gave a hint to join other political parties.
