GUWAHATI: The Government Railway Police (GRP) detained five Bangladeshi nationals at Guwahati Railway Station on July 16.

The detainees include two women and three men, who were reportedly on their way to Bengaluru for jobs promised by an Indian national.
The detained individuals have been identified as Abdullah, Md. Ismail Sardar (19), Mosamad Moina (18, female), Farzana (18, female), and Sohid Sikdar (22). While Sikdar is from Khulna, Bangladesh, the others are from Sylhet. An investigation into the incident is ongoing.
