A fire broke out in a vehicle carrying gas cylinders in Jorabat with no injuries
GUWAHATI: A fire broke out in a vehicle carrying domestic cylinders near Kali Temple in Jorabat on Wednesday, January 22. The cause of the fire is suspected to be a short circuit.

Speaking to GPlus, a traffic official from Jorabat Outpost said, “A fire erupted in a vehicle carrying cylinders, possibly due to a short circuit. The driver noticed smoke, stopped the vehicle, and attempted to extinguish the fire. The flames damaged the front portion of the vehicle. Fortunately, the fire did not reach the side with the cylinders, averting a disaster. Firefighters arrived at the scene to bring the blaze under control.”
Fortunately, no injuries or fatalities were reported in the incident.
