This exercise is currently underway in Kamrup Metropolitan district, covering constituencies 33-Dispur, 34-Dimoria (ST), 35-New Guwahati, 36-Guwahati Central, and 37-Jalukbari. The process began on October 29, 2024, and the final date for submitting claims and objections is November 28, 2024.

Eligible citizens who wish to register or raise objections regarding their inclusion in the electoral roll are urged to submit the required forms—Form 6, 6A, 7, or 8—either offline at the designated offices or online. Booth-level officers (BLOs), assistant electoral registration officers (AEROs), or electoral registration officers (EROs) can also be approached for assistance.

To facilitate easy enrollment, special voter registration camps are being held at various educational institutions in Kamrup Metropolitan district, particularly targeting students aged 17 and above. On November 28, 2024, such camps will be organised at Dispur College (33-Dispur constituency) and Pragjyotish College (36-Guwahati Central constituency). Eligible individuals can submit their claims and objections during these camps by providing the necessary documents.

The ECI has encouraged all eligible voters to actively participate in the process to ensure an accurate and inclusive electoral roll.
