GUWAHATI: The driver of the police car which met with a fatal accident near Vivanta at Khanapara on Sunday night was apprehended on March 4.
The accident claimed the life of 28-year-old Rupam Borah.

The incident occurred when a police convoy car collided with Borah's two-wheeler.
Talking to GPlus, an official from Dispur Police Station said, "The identity of the accused driver is Prakash Sharma from Panbazaar Police Reserve. The collision took place at around 12:30 AM."

Earlier the police official from Dispur Police Station had said, "Two Individuals on the two-wheeler sustained severe injuries and were rushed to Apollo hospital. Later, one succumbed to his injuries."
