GUWAHATI: In what can be touted as a much-awaited demand for the residents of Guwahati, the Kamrup (Metro) District Transport Authority made operational the city buses from Dharapur in the western part of the city on Tuesday, December 27, 2022.
Speaking to G Plus on the development, District Transport Officer, Rafiqul Islam said that the city buses will ply on six different routes starting from Dharapur to Chandrapur via Chandmari (route 35), followed by Dharapur to Basistha Madir via Zoo Road (route 37). Also, these city buses will ply from Dharapur to Narengi via Uzan Bazar (Route 38), Dharapur to Bonda Colony via Geeta Mandir (Route 46)
