During the proceedings, the High Court issued a stern warning to the legal cell of the Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) concerning its call for protests at court complexes.

“The right to approach the court is a fundamental right. No one can be stopped, if someone stops the common people, there will be very severe consequences,” the HC warned, as quoted by the media.

Kejriwal was arrested on March 21 and later placed in the custody of the Enforcement Directorate (ED) until March 28 by a Delhi court for further interrogation.

On Tuesday, AAP members and supporters staged protests over Arvind Kejriwal's arrest, attempting to march towards the prime minister's residence before being halted. Meanwhile, the BJP organised counter-protests, calling for the resignation of the Delhi Chief Minister.
