GUWAHATI: Elections to the Assembly of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi will be held on February 5 and the counting of votes on February 8.

Making the announcement on Tuesday, January 7, the Election Commission of India said the Gazette notification for the election will be issued on January 10 marking the official start of the election process. The last date for submitting nominations will be January 17 followed by the scrutiny of nominations on January 18. The last date for withdrawal of candidatures is set for January 20.
