Commercial LPG Cylinder Prices Hiked Again By ₹ 62

GUWAHATI: Oil marketing companies have raised the price of commercial LPG cylinders for the fourth consecutive month, effective on Friday, November 1. The price for a 19-kg commercial LPG cylinder in Delhi has risen from ₹ 1,740 to ₹ 1,802, marking an increase of ₹ 62.

In addition to the hike in commercial LPG prices, the cost of a 5-kg free trade LPG cylinder has been raised by ₹ 15. However, the rate for 14.2-kg domestic LPG cylinders remains unchanged, offering some relief to households.

New prices of commercial LPG cylinder are as follows:

- Delhi: ₹ 1,802

- Mumbai: ₹ 1,754.50

- Kolkata: ₹ 1,911.50

- Chennai: ₹ 1,964.50

This series of monthly price increases for commercial LPG began in August. In the last adjustment on 1 October, prices rose by ₹ 48.50 in Delhi, bringing the cost of a 19-kg cylinder to ₹ 1,740 at the time. The consistent hikes have affected businesses reliant on commercial LPG, putting added pressure on operational costs in various sectors.
