Ninama's wife, Laxmi, stated that the hospital had declared his condition critical, claiming he was in a coma, and demanded an advance payment. After arranging ₹1 lakh, she returned to the hospital, only to find doctors restraining her husband in the ICU.

According to the reports, he had been hospitalised after sustaining injuries in a violent altercation between two groups recently. His family was told that he had suffered a severe spinal injury and was admitted in ICU. They were informed that urgent treatment was required, and the hospital demanded ₹1 lakh to proceed with his care.

However, the hospital management refuted the allegations, stating that Ninama had been admitted to the ICU but began causing a commotion just two hours later. They claimed his total bill, including medication and other charges, was ₹8,000 and dismissed his accusations as baseless.

The viral video has sparked outrage on social media. The people are questioning how such incidents occur in private hospitals meant to provide proper care.
