CM calls for high level meeting to discuss flood issues

Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal held a high level meeting with the State Government officials at Assam Secretariat, on Sunday, to discuss on rising flood issues across the State.  During the course of the meeting Sonowal directed his officials to take every precautionary measures for settlement of the flood victims, and also make necessary provisions for food, medicines, healthcare facilities, drinking water, etc in abundance in all flood affected areas. Sonowal laid special emphasis on food and healthcare conditions of the children and the aged people of the areas, and requested all the people of the State to extend help towards the needy.
