Reports in social media suggest that while the school administration attempted to stop the incident, the attackers continued their actions. The Class 11 student eventually had to escape the situation on his own.

According to social media accounts, the Class 12 hostellers physically assaulted the Class 11 student, with no intervention strong enough to stop the attack. Witnesses claimed that when members of the school administration attempted to intervene, they were pushed away by the attackers, who continued their assault.

Eventually, the victim was forced to escape and run from the group of seniors to save himself. The posts further alleged that the attackers were confident there would be no consequences, as they believed the school administration would take no strict action against them.

Sources alleged that some of the Class 12 students involved in the attack, particularly day scholars, fled the campus after the incident to avoid facing repercussions. The confidence displayed by the accused students has left parents and others questioning the disciplinary measures in place at the school.

However, talking to GPlus, a South Point School official said, “The fight was stopped because the administration intervened. Without our involvement, it could have been worse.” The official did not comment on allegations that the administration was pushed aside or that the students involved escaped without consequences.
