Guwahati boy, Neil Sengupta, who was missing since 4th September, was found dead on 6th September, in Chennai. Here is the full story -  Neil Sengupta, who was a student of Swarnabhoomi Academy of Music, has been missing since 4th September after he went out for an outing to Blue Bay Beach Resorts, ECR Road, Mahabalipuram, Chennai.    Mr. Vinay (Academics Director of the college) later informed about the situation by calling his father at around 11:30 PM and asked him to come as soon as possible or send a local guardian to rescue.   Mr Jayanta Sengupta, father of Neil, who reached Chennai, the next day, along with friends of Neil went to the resort, but could not find any trace of him. They were also not allowed to see the CCTV footage. When asked, the authorities of the resort said that the camers weren't in a proper working condition.   Neil's father and friends later approached E1 Police Station, Mamallapuram (Mahabalipuram) straight from the resort as the College Authorities said that the FIR has already been lodged at around 9 AM. However, Neil's friends and family could not see any signs of investigation process initiated by the police. The college authorities who abruptly kept on missing from the scene, were alleged to be making stories of meeting the DSP at the resort, and initiating an inquiry.    After nearly 6 hours in the police station, the Sub-Inspector of the police station assured of handing over the CCTV footage of the entire thing to the family. However, the SI did not arrive to the police station despite several calls from the family members.   The family and friends of Neil suspected it to be a foul play, being carried on since 4th sept.    Neil's body was finally recovered near the sea shore, almost 100 mts away from the resort, as informed by the SI to the family, over phone.   Considering the course of events during the 3 days, it is yet to be proved whether Neil's death is an accident or a planned murder.
