GUWAHATI: The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has introduced a significant change in its examination system by announcing that the CA Final exam will be held three times a year.

This decision, taken by the 26th Council of ICAI, aims to align with global best practices and offer students more opportunities to appear for the exam.
Previously conducted twice a year, the CA Final examination will now be held in January, May, and September, bringing it in line with the Intermediate and Foundation course exams, which were already shifted to a thrice-a-year schedule last year.
With this change, all three levels—CA Final, Intermediate, and Foundation—will have an equal number of exam attempts annually.
