GUWAHATI: Troops of Guwahati Frontier of Border Security Forces on December 29, carried out a joint operation for destruction of illegal cultivation of cannabis in the bordering area of Dinhata in West Bengal’s Cooch Behar.
As per reports, during the operation 64 patches of cultivated land consisting approximately 43,000 plants of cannabis were destroyed.
The joint operation was conducted with Police, Excise Department and Civil Authorities under supervision of Block Development Office, Dinhata.
