GUWAHATI: BJP leader from Haryana Captain Abhimanyu has been appointed as the Election In-charge for the upcoming Lok Sabha elections in Assam by BJP’s National President JP Nadda.

The BJP made this announcement on their official X handle on March 27, while announcing the appointments of 17 other BJP leaders as Election In-charges in 12 other states and union territories.

The Lok Sabha elections 2024 are scheduled to begin from April 19, and will be held in seven phases throughout the nation. Currently, the filing of nomination papers by candidates contesting in the phase two of the elections is underway.
