GUWAHATI: Top journalist and editor of Republic TV, Arnab Goswami, was attacked on his way home last night allegedly by "Congress" goons.
Goswami took to YouTube to narrate the incident. Giving specific timings and locations Goswami spoke about the incident in graphic detail. After getting waylaid by the miscreants, Goswami said that his car was hammered with weapons and some liquids in an effort to break its panes.
Goswami said that when he realized it was an attack, he somehow managed to break clean and enter his residential building where after he saw that the goons had been pinned down by Goswami's security personnel. Goswami's wife was with him in the car at the time of the incident.
In the same video, Goswami said that his security personnel told him that the goons identified themselves as youth Congress workers who had been sent by the party's higher authorities specifically to mount an attack on him to "teach him a lesson." Thereafter, Goswami took a personal dig at Sonia Gandhi calling her the biggest coward in the country at the moment.
