GUWAHATI: An auto-rickshaw driver is in critical condition following an accident on the Shraddhanjali Flyover in Guwahati late on Monday, July 15.

According to witnesses, the accident occurred when the auto-rickshaw was about to make a U-turn and was struck by a speeding vehicle.
An official from the Geetanagar traffic division informed GPlus, "The accident was reported late at night, and we are looking into the matter."
The collision caused substantial damage to the auto-rickshaw and left the driver seriously injured. Locals assisted the injured driver and shifted him to a nearby hospital for treatment.
