GUWAHATI: The Assam Cabinet has approved the reappointment of 36 Assistant Engineers (C) in the Public Works Department (PWD).

This decision, taken at a meeting on Sunday, October 27, aims to facilitate the smooth execution of numerous ongoing infrastructure projects in the state that require specialised skills.
The re-appointments will continue under Regulation 3 (f) until the next recommendations from the Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) or for a period of four months whichever is earlier.
