GUWAHATI: The Hailakandi Police successfully apprehended two individuals suspected of being involved in a dacoity case on Tuesday.
The accused have been identified as Monu Gour, aged 44, hailing from Lalamuhk TE, and Ghanasyam Sahu, aged 30, residing in Gaglachora Grant. The arrests were carried out by the Officer-in-Charge of Lala Police Station as part of an ongoing investigation into the dacoity case.
Taking to Twitter, Hailakandi Police stated, "Accused persons Monu Gour, 44 years, S/O Sibsankar Gour, Vill. Lalamuhk TE, PS Lala, and Ghanasyam Sahu, 30 years, S/O Jogodish Sahu, Vill. Gaglachora Grant, PS Lala, were arrested by the O/C, Lala PS, in connection with a dacoity case, and forwarded to judicial custody."
Following their apprehension, the accused were presented before the judicial authorities and subsequently remanded to judicial custody.
