GUWAHATI: The Assam Skill Development Mission (ASDM) is all set to launch a Mega Registration Drive for the upcoming Skill Training Programmes, aiming to empower individuals with valuable skills and open avenues for wage employment and self-employment. The event is scheduled to take place on August 25, 26 and 27, starting from 10 am onwards.
Applicants between the ages of 18 to 46 are invited to participate in the drive, with the courses themselves commencing from September 5. The Assam government-sponsored courses promise to equip participants with practical skills that are highly relevant to the job market.
Candidates are urged to bring their educational qualification certificates and Aadhaar Card, as both documents are mandatory for registration. Successful completion of the training will result in the award of Skill Certificates, bolstering candidates' credibility in the competitive job market.
The registration drive will be held across various districts, each with specific venues dedicated to the event. District-wise registration venues have been allocated for applicants' convenience.
