GUWAHATI: City journalist Naresh Mitra passed away today, December 9 in Guwahati.
Mitra who is survived by his wife and his daughter was admitted in Gauhati Medical College and Hospital on November 22.
According to reports, Mitra while travelling back home on his bicyle from office, met with an accident and was found bleeding profusely.

Although initially it was thought to be a case of accident, the doctors at the hospital who operated upon him had told family members that injuries are similar to that of assault, raising suspicion about the whole incident.
