GUWAHATI: Assam's Masters swimmers delivered an impressive performance at the 20th National Masters Swimming Championship, held from November 10 to 12, 2024, securing five medals across various categories.

Bhargabi Hazarika, competing in the 25-29 years category, led the medal tally for the state with two silver medals in the 100m Butterfly and 100m Breaststroke events.
Dolly Kaur Das, in the 55-59 years category, clinched two bronze medals in the 200m and 400m Freestyle events.
Adding to Assam’s success, Jasmine Khatun, competing in the 40-44 years category, won a bronze medal in the 50m Breaststroke.
The Assam Swimming Association’s General Secretary, Bhaskar Ranjan Das, and Publicity Secretary, Mukuteswar Goswami, expressed their pride in the swimmers’ achievements, stating that their success serves as inspiration for aspiring swimmers across the state.
