GUWAHATI: A man lost his life due to heatstroke at Uriagaon bypass Chowk in Nagaon on Tuesday.
Talking to G Plus a police official from Itachalia Outpost in Nagaon said, “The person has been identified to be Sirajul Haque who lost consciousness due to the rising temperature while he was riding his bicycle. He was on his way through his delivery route as he delivered tea leaves to the locality. The family found out about his accident and took him away initially without reporting the police.”
Following the incident locals contacted 108 ambulance service, however, it did not arrive on time ultimately leading to the death of Sirajul, as per reports.
Further investigations are on as we await more details.
