GUWAHATI: Assam along with the other NE states is likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall over the next few days, as per an official report from RWFC, Guwahati (Regional Weather Forecasting Centre) on July 25.
On July 25, thunder and lightning with heavy rain are anticipated across most areas of the Northeast including Assam.
Continuing into July 26, Assam can anticipate heavy rainfall in most areas, with thunder, and lightning.
July 27 will see heavy to very heavy rainfall in most locations over Assam and neighbouring states.
As the weather pattern progresses into July 28, heavy rainfall persists with thunder and lightning in certain parts of NE India.
The rainfall trend persists on July 29, with most places in Assam and other states likely to receive heavy to very heavy rainfall, the forecast report stated.
