GUWAHATI: Assam Chief Minister Sarbananda Sonowal chaired a cabinet meeting at Janata Bhawan, Guwahati on Monday, July 22 and took multiple decisions in regard to the development and welfare of the people of Assam.
In a landmark decision, the Cabinet approved new syllabus for Assam Public Service Commission (APSC) Combined Competitive Exam (CCE) on lines of Union Public Service Commission (UPSC).
It is to be mentioned that this decision will help students to take both APSC and UPSC with the same preparation.
Among other decisions, the cabinet also decided to give a subsidy of Rs. 50,000 to students who have taken higher education loans eaand those who will be taking the loans this year as well.
The Cabinet approved new syllabus for APSC CCE on lines of UPSC. This will help students to take both APSC and UPSC with the same preparation.

The Cabinet decided to give subsidy of ₹ 50,000 to students who have taken higher education loans & those who will be taking this year.
