GUWAHATI: The Assam Government announced the initiation of 'Vikas Yatra' during the State Cabinet Meeting on February 12.
The yatra, scheduled to unfold from March 1 to March 10, is set to focus on laying foundations for 964 projects and inaugurating 1,812 projects.
The projects are designed to address crucial infrastructure, education, healthcare, and public service needs. The estimated total project cost for all 2,776 initiatives is an impressive figure, exceeding ₹23,000 crore.
