GUWAHATI: The flood situation in Assam remains stern with Dhemaji being the worst affected as of a report on Monday by ASDMA.
The report states that no rivers are flowing above the danger level. Biswanath, Dhemaji, and Jorhat are the worst affected districts with a total of 20 villages affected.

A total of 9812 people are affected in four revenue circles of the three districts including Biswanath, Dhemaji, and Jorhat as stated in the ASDMA report.
The worst affected district currently is Dhemaji with 9551 people still afflicted by flood waters, followed by Biswanath with a total of 261 affected.
A total of 166.47 hectares of cropland have been affected in the three districts as per the official report.
