GUWAHATI: The principal of the Sai Vikas School, Sivasagar was stabbed to death by a student on Saturday, July 6.

Based on preliminary information, a student of Class 11 stabbed and killed the principal.
According to reports, the student was asked to leave the class by a teacher.
The student left, but soon returned with a knife.
He found the teacher and the principal together and got into an altercation following which he stabbed the latter.
The principal was being taken to AMCH, Dibrugarh but died on the way.
Talking to GPlus, the SP of Sivasagar said, “The student has been taken into custody and we are gathering all the evidence. Further details will be notified.”
