GUWAHATI: A bus ran off the road and fell into a pond in Sipajhar on Thursday causing injuries to several passengers.
Talking to G Plus the Superintendent of Police of Darrang, Prakash Sonowal stated, “We received the report of the accident today and the bus reportedly skidded off the road to crash into the pond.”
According to official information, the incident took place on National Highway 15 at Sipajhar in the Darrang district of Assam.
The passenger bus while on the road lost control and fell into a roadside pond.
While no casualties were reported, several passengers reportedly sustained injuries in the incident, as per reports.
