Is BJP Ready With The New Sixers?

BJP with a very clear picture and a strategic ideology, released its manifesto for the 2024 Lok Sabha General Elections, in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and other Senior BJP leaders. The manifesto is named ‘Sankalp Patra’, as BJP is always bold with their decisions and opinions. Additionally, this term also they have come up with some tough promises, and among all of them, two needed to be highlighted. One says about the implementation of the Citizenship Amendment Act which was passed by the parliament on 2019, and is yet to be in effect. Specifically, the people of Assam had a great rejection because it directly violated the Assam Accord, which might be harmful in their Lok Sabha polls. It must also be noted that in the State of Assam, it was seen that people were not accepting it, and some serious strikes were put on. But when the Vidhan Sabha election was on the ballot, the BJP had the clear majority carrying on with this special issue mentioned. So, will the same kick keep continuing or will the results be something different this time?

Carrying forward, BJP again promised the implementation of the Uniform Civil Code (UCC) which enriches all citizens to share the same set of personal laws. There will be no particular privileges enjoyed by any particular community or religion, which highlights the indication toward Muslim's personal law boards. They won't be allowed to do the practices they used to perform, which again is a bold decision after Article 370, which might have a great curse over the Muslim Voting population in these Lok Sabha Polls 2024. Article 44 of the Constitution lists the Uniform Civil Code as one of the Directive Principles of State Policy. BJP believes that there cannot be gender equality till such time until Bharat adopts a Uniform Civil Code, which protects the rights of all women. So, will this be another masterstroke, or will it face some backlashes? Speaking about Uttarakhand, UCC is already implemented over there with a smooth run to go, also becoming the first state to do so.

Keeping on in the minds with so many promises, will BJP succeed in the Lok Sabha Elections 2024, and will they keep their promises again like ‘Ram Mandir’, Article 370, development issues, etc. Can they hit the magic number of 272 or will they cross the boundaries and form the government for three consecutive terms making it a hattrick? There are so many questions like - what will happen? And, who will win - BJP or Congress? As Congress seems like they are only slamming the deeds of the BJP in their Manifesto with some particular issues over it, will there be any new changes actually? So hold on, the real fight is yet to start now!
