The North East Agriculture Technology Entrepreneurs Hub (NEATEHUB), the agribusiness incubator of Assam Agricultural University, organized a valedictory and a cheque distribution ceremony for its incubatees on Saturday.
The entrepreneurs selected are from the Isanya and Saranya incubation program of the incubator for Idea stage and Startup
NEATEHUB was established in 2018 at the AAU campus. It is an Atal Incubation Centre. The agri-business incubator aims to create a sustainable environment for the budding agri entrepreneurs of the north eastern region, by providing the necessary technical support and mentoring/allied services besides co-working space.
The chief guest for the valedictory and cheque distribution session was Prof. V.S. Ravishankar, Director of the National Institute of Design, Jorhat.
Prof. Ravishankar, while appreciating the efforts of the NEATEHUB, further pointed out that NID and NEATEHUB will team up to support entrepreneurs to reintroduce and broaden their ventures to induce more employment in the region.
