The 10th edition of Guwahati Food Awards is back to recognise the city’s finest culinary talents, and this year’s Home Chef of the Year competition is already stirring excitement among food enthusiasts within the city.

GPlus will be hosting the second edition of Home Chef of the Year this year as part of the GPlus Guwahati food Awards.
The competition, designed to celebrate the creativity and expertise of home chefs, tasked participants with preparing a complete meal consisting of a protein, carb, and side dish—all within a challenging 60-minute timeframe.
With each contestant bringing their own ingredients and using induction ovens provided on-site, the energy was high as they set out to impress the jury with not just taste but also presentation and resourcefulness.
The top three finalists will later receive special invitations to the gala night, where the coveted Home Chef of the Year title will be revealed. This exciting finale will take place during the 10th edition of the Guwahati Food Awards at Vivanta, Guwahati, on December 22, 2024.
