GUWAHATI: The Annual Day – 2022 of Don Bosco School, Panbazar, Guwahati was celebrated with a two-day cultural programme on November 24-25 at the school auditorium.
On the first day, the chief guest of the event was Most Rev. John Moolachira, Archbishop of Guwahati and the guest of honour for the function was Kimnei Changsan, ACS, Additional Secretary, Government of Assam.
On the second day the Chief Guest was Fr. Januarius S. Sangma, SDB, Provincial, Salesians of Guwahati Province and the guest of honour was Anurag Agarwal, IPS, IGP (training and Armed Police) Assam Police.
Around 1600 students from KG to class 9 and class 11 participated in various events organised in both days. Class 10 and 12 students were exempted from participation in the function as they need to prepare for the upcoming pre-board and board examinations.
"After a two-year hiatus due to the pandemic, we are once again celebrating our Annual Day this year with an array of colourful cultural programs put up by our students who were guided by our hard-working teachers,” said Fr. Sebastian Mathew, Principal of the school.
