Allu Arjun Sent To 14-Day Judicial Custody In Hyderabad Stampede Case

 

GUWAHATI: Telugu actor Allu Arjun has been sent to 14-day judicial custody by a local court in Telangana on Friday, December 13.

This decision was passed in connection with the  stampede case that led to the death of a woman at a Hyderabad theatre during the Pushpa 2 film premiere.

Earlier, the actor had approached the court seeking the quashing of the criminal case filed against him, arguing that he had no role in the incident.

Revathi’s husband, Bhaskar, had also expressed his willingness to withdraw the case, stating that Allu Arjun "has nothing to do with the stampede" in which his wife lost her life.

The actor was previously brought to the Chikkadpally police station in Hyderabad on the same day for questioning in connection with the incident.
