Issuing the Baal Aadhaar Card does not require the child's biometric data. Instead, it relies on demographic information and a photograph linked to the UID of the parents. Parents can initiate the application process for a Baal Aadhaar Card for their newborn using the birth certificate or the hospital's discharge slip. Additionally, a children's school ID can be utilised for Baal Aadhaar card registration.

This distinctive card serves various purposes, including aiding in securing government assistance programs and facilitating the provision of EWS scholarships. Notably, many schools now mandate the presentation of Blue Aadhaar cards during the admission process.

To apply for the Baal Aadhaar Card, visit the UIDAI website and select the Aadhaar card registration option. Enter the child's name, the parent or guardian's phone number, and choose an appointment slot for registration. Once the appointment is booked at the nearest enrollment center, visit with the required documents, including the Aadhaar card, address proof, and the child's birth certificate. The subsequent document verification process ensures the issuance of the Blue Aadhaar Card in the child's name within 60 days of verification.
