GUWAHATI: In an operation near Kaziranga National Park, police seized 90 empty cartridges from a residence in Harmoti on Saturday, March 8.

The raid, conducted by Kaliabor Police, led to the arrest of Rafikul Islam, a resident of Harmoti. Authorities recovered the ammunition during a search of his residence.
Speaking to GPlus, a Kaliabor police official stated, “We seized 90 empty cartridges during a raid and arrested Rafikul Islam in connection with the case.”
Investigations are underway to determine the purpose behind the storage of the ammunition and any possible links to illegal arms activities.
