According to spokesperson Jubee Baruwa, the Cyclothon will commence at 6:30 a.m. from Gita Mandir School ground in Guwahati. This year’s flag-off will be conducted by Assam Sports Secretary, Kausar Jamil Hilaly. Participants will have the option to choose between two scenic routes: the longer path from Gita Mandir School to Pobitora Wildlife Sanctuary, offering views of landscapes, and a shorter route from Gita Mandir School to Panikhaity and back, designed for a brisk yet thrilling ride.

Guwahati Cyclothon-2024 is open to all ages, with no age restrictions in place, ensuring inclusivity for cycling enthusiasts. Volunteers and medical teams, including ambulances, will be stationed along both routes to ensure participant safety throughout the event.
